cookie policy

By raimonnemar October 12, 2000

When you visit our website, Googles web server sends a cookie to your computer or mobile device because we use Google to measure traffic (for now).

Cookies are small pieces of information that are issued to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or access or use a mobile application, and that store and sometimes track information about your use of the website.

The google cookies are used to remember you when you return to the platform and will last longer but are anonymous so we don’t know it’s “you” (Tamika or Kwame) we just know the device.

We plan to switch to https://usefathom.com/ soon so that we don’t even need this cookie policy anymore but until then here you go.

How we actally feel
Why do we REALLY need to know it’s you looking at a page vs know the page is popular for people who visit our site? We don’t know. If you’re signed up for us to know these things because you want a specific product from us (we want to know when to sell you a new leather book because you’ve told us you love leather boots that’s different).

But tracking you all over the place assuming other people that like boots also like the same websites you like is ridiculous. You are singular. Well make no assumptions about you, just send you the things you ask us for. And never ask you for info we don’t need in the first place.
