NEW YORKS CONSCIOUS COMMUNITY NEEDED A DIGITAL PLATFORM
Growing a community is never easy and Conscious Capitalism NYC already managed to build and engage a thriving community. However, it had become increasingly hard to communicate with the community, costly to use third-party solutions, and the web presence had no way to promote and sell events.
We built a digital platform for CCNYC that would solve all of the needs of New York City’s conscious community. This platform houses a backend social network exclusive to the community, an eCommerce store to sell events, memberships, and shwag as well as a user updated calendar that empowers event holders to post their own information without the need of a webmaster.
National Jazz Museum in Harlem
JAZZ IS BEING BROUGHT TO LIFE
There’s a lot of jazz history in New York but the National Jazz Museum in Harlem is bringing it to life. The museum has reclaimed its identity by moving its location from East Harlem into the cultural and entertainment district of Central Harlem. It is also offering unique educational opportunities for a broad range of students and an engaging new membership program.
We provided CMO consulting services to help create comprehensive marketing, digital, and content strategies. The end goal was to develop a consistent and unique branding identity for the museum. We assisted with advertising and PPC in order to create community awareness and increase foot traffic to the museum’s website and their physical location.
The National Jazz Museum in Harlem is quickly building its membership base, as well as bringing in revenue from its education offerings, which will allow it to reach its long-term goal of finding and purchasing a permanent space in Harlem that is big enough to fully display jazz’s contributions to society.

Carte Blanche needed a high-end website to cater to their high-end customers. But this was just one aspect of our work with them. We also offered CMO services that helped them to communicate their lifestyle brand and implement an effective marketing strategy. Then, tied to both the branding and marketing strategy was a digital strategy and brand publishing that we created for them. The goal of these services was to draw in the right customers with methods outside of just the website design.

A few decades ago, Brooklyn was simply considered an ‘outer borough’. Brownstoner realized this reputation was changing in the early 2000s and decided they should capture the evolution of the area, in terms of both the local real estate changes and interesting renovations. And as Brooklyn transformed, so did Brownstoner, from a blog to a real estate media brand that highlights the history of the area and current information that is vital in assisting individuals in buying, selling, and renovating homes in the Brooklyn borough.
We helped Brownstoner claim this reputation by working with them to develop a marketing plan for the future. This plan was molded around a comprehensive renewal of identity and product development of new website tools and features. This, alongside the introduction of a strong digital strategy, content marketing assistance, and public relations consulting, was done in an effort to keep Brownstoner relevant to the current market and more agile for future market changes.

FITNESS BRAND LOOKS TO EMPHASIZE
COMMUNITY WHILE GROWING REVENUE
Brooklyn Boulders had been growing quickly since it’s first month open. However, its negative perception had also been growing. Ownership was looking for a way to not only stem the tide of negative perception, but give its community a way to communicate better with staff.
Create a community engagement platform for the brand and launch the #BKBLove campaign for continuity.
In order to fully engage any community they must have a voice. To help Brooklyn Boulders fully engage their community we created a digital platform that would allow for constant communication from the community to staff and each other.
Better customer engagement and satisfaction numbers. The community was policed and managed by its members. Events, blog posts and community ideas were all shared through the new platform leading to better customer engagement on other platforms as well as an increased positive sentiment.
Black Nerd Problems
A COMMUNITY OF NERDS NEEDS BUSINESS SAVVY TO GROW.
Nerd and geek culture is too often associated with a shrimpy, little white kid with glasses. This generalization, though, is leaving out a significant portion of sci-fi and comic consumers people of color. This is where Black Nerd Problems comes in. Since mid-2014, the website has been providing a new perspective in the world of nerd and geek. It offers comprehensive information about the industry, as well as editorials that give a different view.
We teamed up with this niche brand to help them break through. The center and circumference of this project revolved around developing a strong rebranding and branding strategy. This involved providing CMO services to create a marketing, publishing, and eCommerce strategy that culminated in a robust website design.
CREATING BRAND STRATEGY FOR A
NATIONAL INDEPENDENT FASHION BRAND.
Perception is everything and when Minx NY wanted to launch higher quality products, Consciously was tasked with improving their brand perception. This included an emphasis on heightened visibility as well as adjusting the brand’s image to fit an uptick in prices.
Build a brand identity system. In order to fully enhance their imagery, we ran a complete overhaul on LoveMinxNY.com that also included improvements to the brand’s assets. The relaunch of the website was further promoted by social media engagement under the #loveminxny hashtag.
More credibility and visibility. Thanks to the increased visibility, Minx’s range of comfy casual goods have finally found their consumer base. This shift in perception is also evident based on the vendors who have stocked their store with product.
